Just curious as to what riders would want to see on the track regarding jumps etc,we had a bit of a discussion last week in France and just wondering what people would like to see on the track,anything removed or even added,please note that this is just gauging a bit of feedback and at the end of the day any track changes have to go through the track team of Mark Seaman,Jools Allen & Alan Elvin,as all of these guys look in on here it would be good to get some ideas from THE RIDERS,dont wanna hear any bitching just some serious suggestions.

1st set of ideas: I like the lengthenining of the first jump; personally I think it would give me more confidence to go faster down the first straight plus opportunity to practice manualling or jumping(?). Agree with shallowing entry into first berm.

2nd set of ideas: that step-up triple thingy looks good too; better than the one on the second straight?

Amazing!!!!
23 views to date and only 2 replies,think that pretty much sums up the way things are tbh.

Pics are good Jools,I do hope you never paid Sid to do them for ya Laughing

I'd like to see one of the jumps on the first corner made into a step up,again,ideal for kids to start jumping and manualing,also maybe get rid of the 2 middle jumps in the 3rd straight and make something like the end of Peterboroughs 2nd straight.

Without stating the obvious about not being a rider, i think the container berm should be widened. Although there is height there it seems to slow all the riders down instead of flowing round and riders being able to maintain a consistant speed ready for the first jump which comes soon after entering the 3rd straight.

To get a perspective of what a younger rider would want I asked George what tracks he likes and why.

Basically, likes Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Royston because they have a selection of smaller jumps for him to practice jumping and manuals.

The 1st straight at Braintree was very popular with the youngsters before the current modifications. We need something for the kids but with-out making the track less challenging for the older riders.

Could the 1st berm be back moved to make the 1st and 3rd straights longer???????

i think the first straight ideas by jools are great;
the first straight, in my opinion, is about speed & power, and maintaining the speed requires a set of jumps which will flow with each other, without being over-complicated for the younger kids, otherwise they will be potentionally dangerous. i hope that some of you would agree that the previous jumps on the first straight, made it faster. its f_ck all like that anymore, lol.

i reckon when/if were sorted out with a nice first straight, the rest of the other starights will map themselves.
who's with me...? if so, gather round the camp fire.
